We work in a very powerful computerised environment which allows us to obtain considerable productivity gains in matter of translation consistency and document layout generation. You benefit directly from these productivity gains, by getting a full service, including for the supported formats a total original layout preservation, at a standard translation price.
In most cases, we take advantage of an integrated
CAT software (Computer Aided Translation:
Transit XV (and older v.) from Star
http://www.star-group.net) which allows us to use previously translated
material as a translation database.
However, we also have Trados Freelance Edition (v. 5.0 to 7.0) (http://www.trados.com)
available for those customers who prefer to work
with this software suite. Your choice is not limited there since we also
offer DéjàVu version 3 and X (http://www.atril.com)
and WordFast v 4.2 (http://www.wordfast.net)
as alternative CAT tools and also Fusion a recent collaborative tool.
Thus, we can guarantee a perfect translation consistancy throughtout
a given document, and even a given customer. The same term, the same expression
is always translated in an identical way, which can even be customer specific.
Furthermore, to be able to accept all the formats that our customers are using,
we are equipped with the main Text, DTP (MS-Word, QuarkXPress, Pagemaker, Framemaker,
Indesign, Ventura) and CAD (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, FreeHand) editing
software available. Of course, we also rely on general and specialised dictionaries
and encyclopedies among which the famous Encyclopedia Universalis.
Of course, we feel very concerned by your security. Our LAN is protected by a Firewall programm (Norton) and each computer has its own Anti-virus installed (Norton).
